Under the leadership of Bishop Walter S. Hanchell and Elder Minalee Hanchell, Great Commission Ministries (GCM) has trained hundreds of Pastors and church leaders in evangelism and missions.

GCM has led mission trips and planted churches, orphanages, and various ministries in countries around the world including Cuba, The Turks and Caicos Islands, The Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, India, Bangladesh, Singapore, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Great Commission Ministries has also had successful mission trips to every inhabited island in the Bahamas.
